Description
Zibulo Colliery produces in excess of 8Mtpa of ROM, of which 90% comes from the undergound operations and the remaining being produced from opencast operations.
V&M are involved in various underground and surface infrastructure projects at Zibulo Colliery, and include the Graben Development, Solar Plant Project and other ancillary SIB projects in order to ensure for mine continuity.
Zibulo Colliery will be the first of the Thungela operations that implements a solar plant at its operations.
